A Private Equity View of Technology Projects and CFML

Saturday February 25, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

We'll be taking a look at how Private Equity Groups and Venture Groups view technology and technology investments.   We'll be starting with some basic definitions as to what PE groups and Venture groups actually do, and the standard PE group metric "EBITDA".   We'll see how this applies to technology projects (in particular, development projects) and walk through the way that developers can talk to CFOs about technology in terms that the CFO can understand.  Finally, we'll spend a little time addressing the issue of market perception and the tendency of many companies to simply "follow the herd" when it comes to application development.
